Castaway Cay - Disney's Private Island
What more can you say....ah, paradise! The highlight of any Disney Cruise is a day at their private Island, Castaway Cay. Located in the Bahamas, this beautiful sandy oasis surrounded by the azure blue waters of the Atlantic makes for a wonderful day for you and your family. We shot this video the week before Christmas, I think you'll agree this is the kind of weather we should all be enjoying at that time of year.
The island is divided into several key areas including: a family beach, a teen beach, an adults only (18+) beach, supervised areas for youngsters who are part of the Disney children's program, shops, rentals and of course "Cookie's B-B-Q", where lunch is served (at no additional charge). You can also rent watercraft from jet-skis to sailboats, and snorkel and swim to your hearts content. This is really a relaxing, yet exciting destination.
