Blizzard Beach Water Park
Blizzard Beach is one of two water park attractions owned and operated by Disney within Walt Disney World. This park is themed as though a freak blizzard blew through central Florida...what do to? Of course, the Disney imagineered turned it into a tropical ski resort, complete with chair lifts and harrowing water rides. The peak of fear inducing plunges is named "Summit Plummit", a 120 foot high water chute where the sliders can exceed speeds of 50 mph, definitely not for pregnant women or the faint-hearted.
This video depicts several of the attractions at the park, but there are many more including a wave pool and many other water rides of varying degrees of terror. There's also a fun family raft ride called "Teamboat Springs" where whole families can ride in large blue rafts down a huge water flume as it twist and turns down the mountain.
